Changes To Facebook: Site Rolls Out Relationship Pages

Forget the shoebox under your bed full of wedding photos and ticket stubs -- Facebook has gone ahead and organized your relationship memories in the digital equivalent of a scrapbook. Want to see it? If you're in a relationship on the social networking site, head on over to Facebook.com/us.

Yes, you and your honey are adorable and now you can easily prove it on the internet.

The social networking site launched the new URL at the same time it began rolling out changes to the look of its friendship pages last Thursday.

The change has spurred some controversy over the past few days, the most common complaints being that the relationship pages are sickeningly cute and possibly invasive.

Of course, Facebook is only using information that users have already made available on the site. In fact, it's just a custom URL for a page that already exists -- users could previously view a couple's history of interactions on Facebook by checking out their friendship page.

What do you think about the change? Let us know in the comments, then click through the slideshow of must-have wedding apps to see other ways technology is impacting couples.

  • Wedding Party

Wedding Party can almost do it all. It collects guests' photos taken at the wedding and organizes them in a "wedding timeline" for invited guests who couldn't attend. Wedding attendees can also leave notes for the newlyweds, and at the end of the night, the couple can download all the photos and notes to their computer. It's currently only available for iPhone but an Android version is in the works. Since its release in July, most users have called it a "great app" with just a few glitches in the time stamp and download features. Overall, it has 4.5 stars out of five on iTunes.

  • Flock

Similar to Wedding Party, Flock is a photo gathering app, but with more features. Flock can automatically identify the friends in photos using Facebook and creates a folder to share with them. Users can also choose which photos are shared, and the app even finds photos that were taken before the app was installed. Though it's only available on iTunes for now, Flock has received fairly positive reviews since debuting in August, earning 3.5 stars out of five.

  • Tie The Knot

Tie The Knot counts down the time until the wedding for users who download the iPhone and iPad app, but it doesn't stop there. This app keeps counting even after the happy couple says "I do," and users agree that they enjoy seeing how much time has passed since the wedding. It boasts 3.5 stars out of five, but one user says the app doesn't switch to counting in years and days after the wedding.

  • Perfect Wedding Guide

The Perfect Wedding Guide was released in August for iPhone and Android devices. This app allows couples to manage their guest lists, organize pre-wedding activities, find local vendors and even find deals on wedding-related services and items. It hasn't been released for long enough to have an average rating and it is still waiting on customer reviews.

  • OurWeddingUsher

OurWeddingUsher is an under-the-radar app that's only available in a beta version from the developers. It offers personal usher services for every guest who downloads the app and can give guests directions to the venue, answer questions about the couple and the wedding, and provides a list of things to do in the area for out-of-towners. The app is available on iPhone and iPad with an Android version in the works, but the mobile web version is available on all phones. Users can download the app from the company's website when it's released, or sign up for the beta version now.
