LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - "Arrested Development" is going to Wiig out a little bit when it makes its return on Netflix in May.
"Saturday Night Live" alum Kristen Wiig will guest-star on the upcoming revival of the beloved cult sitcom, which will also feature Seth Rogen, with whom she also appeared in "Knocked Up."
Details are scarce regarding how many episodes they'll appear in and what characters they'll play. However, according to Vulture, "Bridesmaids" star Wiig will play a younger version of family matriarch Lucille Bluth (portrayed in a more seasoned form by Jessica Walter).
Besides enlisting the original regular cast of the series, Netflix has also brought aboard recurring cast members including Liza Minnelli as Lucille Bluth frenemy Lucille Austero and Henry Winkler as incompetent Bluth family attorney Barry Zuckerkorn.
Previously announced new guests will include Conan O'Brien, "Mad Men" star John Slattery and "Three Stooges" star Chris Diamantopoulos.
The entire, 14-episode new season of "Arrested Development" will premiere at the same time in May. The series originally ran for three seasons on Fox.
